If You Could Be….

inspire“Try not to become a man of success but a man of value.” Albert Einstein

If you could be one thing in life – BE  INSPIRING!

I love this saying. I think about this everyday. How can my life be inspiring to someone today? What act of kindness can I show someone that will make a difference or make them happy today?

I believe we are all called to inspire others. Let me rephrase it in another way…. I think we are all called to be the example. So many people look at others to lead them, to guide them, to teach them, to set the bar of “walking the talk” of who we say we are, that we are always being the example to someone especially when we least expect to be.  I don’t think most of us want to be aware of that fact!

Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12

It’s a standard of values that each of us believes in and adopts into our core. Jesus was the ultimate example of love and forgiveness. He walked his talk with everyone watching to see if he would stumble. It’s the same in our lives. We have people who believe in us wholeheartedly and people who don’t. But it doesn’t matter which group someone falls in. We are called to be the example for everyone!

Wow… did I just type that? As I’m writing I’m being spoken to by God. That is an EYE opening statement! It doesn’t matter what group someone falls in….we are not to focus on that.  We are to focus on US…. our walk and talk…. AWESOME!

Be the example! Walk the talk! If we focus on our speech, our conduct, love, faith and purity than those watching will be inspired to do the same!! That is the lesson for now and always.

Love and Light!
