Feeling Great

jumpI woke up feeling great this morning! I know you might think I’m crazy, but I know there’s a correlation in what we eat, and how well we sleep. Yesterday, I was spot on in all my eating choices. I mean healthy food all day, live food, and one small bit of dark chocolate, which I savored by letting it melt on my tongue, not swallowing it whole! Plus I drank lots of water…… Continue reading “Feeling Great”

Thoughts of Perfection Message

Today’s Thoughts of Perfection – The Secret

Think thoughts of perfection. Illness cannot exist in a body that has harmonious thoughts. Know there is only perfection, and as you observe perfection you must summon that to you. Imperfect thoughts are the cause of all humanities ills, including disease, poverty, and unhappiness. When we think negative thoughts we are cutting ourselves off from our rightful heritage. Declare and intend, I think perfect thoughts. I see only perfection. I am perfection.

The Morning Comes

The morning breeze has secrets to tell you, do not go back to sleep. ~ Rumi

I’m one of those the awakens in the middle of the night, this is the time I’m closest to source – the divine – God.  The memory of God comes to the quiet mind. This is the quietest time. There are no distractions, no one pulling at me, and my soul is at peace.

This is the time I write or journal. It truly is the most powerful time. I AM inspired to flow what I feel onto paper. This is why I’m here – to inspire!! To just be  – “in spirit.”

The morning breeze has secrets to tell you!

How We Are Defined

“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”~ Eleanor Roosevelt

I am compelled to share this with you. One night this week, I was crying as I watched a movie, “Maid in Manhattan.”  I’ve seen this movie many times, but this time I saw something different, something that made my heart skip a beat. Mind you, this movie is one of my favorites because I don’t typically watch a movie more than once or twice. I have probably watched this at least 10 times. Seriously!  I’m sure this movie isn’t one of Jennifer Lopez’s top picks she has made, but it has made a difference to me.

If you haven’t seen this movie, here’s a quick synopsis.

About Maid In Manhattan

Marisa Ventura (Jennifer Lopez) is a struggling single mom who works at a posh Manhattan hotel and dreams of a better life for her and her young son (Tyler Posey). One fateful day, hotel guest and senatorial candidate Christopher Marshall (Ralph Fiennes) meets Marisa and mistakes her for a wealthy socialite. After an enchanting evening together, the two fall madly in love. But when Marisa’s true identity is revealed, issues of class and social status threaten to separate them. Can two people from very different worlds overcome their differences and live happily ever after?

When she is fired and is handed her bag of belongings, the head butler or concierge, who had served peopled all his life, says to Jennifer Lopez – “What we do doesn’t define what we are. What defines us is how well we RISE  after falling.”

Now isn’t that poignant? All of us will face some huge setbacks, heartbreak, or loss, but what matters is how we rise above it.  Keep that in mind next time you are faced with something difficult.

Love and light!
